Functie: Technology Consultant – JM20111121
Opdrachtomschrijving:
Investigate alerts & attack patterns and ensure that defenses are adjusted in such a way that losses can be avoided. Participate in the roll-out of response and prevention best practices to teams in other countries
Deliverables:
Monitor the cybercrime detection logs for potential threats and incidents
Initiate actions to mitigate threats
Liaise with vendors of detection tools and ensure that tools are kept up-to-date
Translate attack patterns to detection requirements; coordinate implementation
Maintain X-functional relationships with key individuals
Participate in X-functional incident response team together with these individuals
Participate in the development of preventive measures and techniques
Escalate end-user alerts to high tech virus response firms and track mitigation to completion
Create and maintain documentation
Improve performance and increase control effectiveness
Additionally, the profile of the candidate is
- strong technical skills in database management (MySQL) and Unix management (RedHat pref.)
- strong technical skills in programming stored procedures, scrips etc. on database level and operating system level
- ability to work occasionally outside of office hours
- flexibility
- willing to learn business environment of direct channels
The candidate will maintain and optimize a main fraud detection system.
Functie-eisen:
Good knowledge of Internet Banking, IDEAL and other payment services.

Knowledge of programming and web applications is required.
The candidate will maintain and optimize a main fraud detection system.
