IT Project Manager roll-out New York Office

 For the roll-out of the New York office, there is a vacancy for an IT project manager with a proven track record in an international setting. He or she has a leading role in the system implementation, setting up the required infrastructure, developing interfacing and testing. These systems are Global One, Sophis and a number of home-grown applications at the Amsterdam office. At the New York Office, Loanet and Broadridge are considered.

The IT project manager has to work closely with the business project manager and the team manager of Securities Financing. The IT project manager will become part the IST GMK project group in Amsterdam.

Function:

• Act as the central point-of-contact for all IT related mattersAannemen van een project di: beoordelen of de projectopdracht past binnen de kaders van de richtlijnen van Fortis en het meewerken aan de realisatie van PID en PSA with regard of planning, budget and escalations.
• Participate in the start up of the project based on Prince2 guidelines with all necessary milestone documents such as a mandate, PID, Project Start Architecture.
• Manage the execution of the IT parts of the project, such as resource allocation, detailed planning (e.g. stageplan), progress reporting/ exception reporting as well as time reporting.
• Manage relationships within the environment i.e.: inform stakeholders on status and progress manage project environment (line management and programme management).
• Arrange the infrastructure side of the project together with I & O projectlead and the Fortis datacentre.
• Overlook that the necessary security baselines are being applied to the project.
• Prepare structured testing for unit-, system- and performance testing with the test manager.

Profile:

Knowledge of Business Global Markets (Treasury) and Securities

• Financing business is a must. Knowledge about the American Repo and SBL market (e.g. Loanet) is recommended.
• De kandidaat beschikt over een aantoonbare ervaring met leiden van ICT-projecten in een bancaire omgeving, waarbij kennis van ontwikkelmethode RUP en LAD vereist is.The candidate has at least 5 years experience in managing complex IT projects in an international banking environment (package implementations, IT development)
• Excellent presentation skills orally and in writing and can convey and persuade the IST point-of-view in the project
• Formal qualification in Prince2 project methodology and can strike the right balance between a structured approach and ad-hoc requests or changes.

• Experience with arranging the IT infrastructure required for the project, founded on the security baselines and SLA agreements
• Experience preparing and execution of a structured testing approach
