Functie: Business Analyst – DETAVAST – RJ20100421
Assignment description:
The candidate will be working in the department which is responsible for IT policy, architecture, application development and implementation, and will be the link between the business, the system developers and architects. The candidate will be the point of control between business and IT and will be cooperating closely with project managers and the business process manager as well as the rest of department.
Job requirements:
- Has a ‘helicopter view’ of business processes and is able to translate business requirements to IT, interacting directly.
- Analyzes the gap from the “as-is” and “to-be” situation.
- Analyzes with users, existing business and process models and develops new (end-to-end) process chains.
- Assists in writing the business case for implementing IT solutions, analyses the impact for existing processes and applications. Grants
support in drawing up functional specifications for system adaptations.
- Takes ownership of the requirements for adaptations in the information processes, as well as ensures the execution of these processes.
- Implements process improvements and – changes and monitors the efficiency of implemented improvements.
- Has insight of business concepts and IT (Cobit) framework.
- Takes control of development of future business initiatives
- Knows the business value chain and seeks optimization of this chain using new IT possibilities.
List years of experience:
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP processes and solutions.
- Experience with standard business applications.
Specific skill set:
- Works in a methodological manner.
- Experience with documenting business processes.
- Commands the English language, verbal and written.
- Teamplayer; takes a co operative approach within the team sharing knowledge and information.
- Customer focus; identifies and understands the customer’s needs.
- Results focus; demonstrates a focus on achieving results and objectives.
